All India Institute of Medical Sciences or popularly known as AIIMS usually conducts admission entrance exams on a national level yearly to select top students for the MBBS program. This entrance exam is popularly known as AIIMS MBBS and it is held at institutes that are registered under AIIMS.
For getting into these colleges you will need to give the entrance exam. AIIMS MBBS is one of the toughest entrance examinations in the country. Students found physics the toughest and chemistry the easiest of all. The pattern of NEET and AIIMS are more similar, but questions in AIIMS entrance exams were tougher with a higher order of thinking skills

How to get admission to AIIM’s colleges in INDIA?
Admission to the courses offered by AIIMS in India is through an entrance test only. The Institute has a separate ‘Examination Section’ which serves as a competent authority for conducting these entrance tests and the corresponding counseling sessions.
