BRANCHES AND SUPPORTING BODIES
The RBI has four regional representations: North at New Delhi, South at Chennai, East in Kolkata and West in Mumbai. Its two training schools for its officers, There are 3 autonomous associations run by RBI specifically the National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM), Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR), Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT). Additionally, there are four zonal training centers in Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, and New Delhi.
The Board of Financial Supervision (BFS), made in November 1994, serves as a Central Board of Directors committee to restrain the monetary institutions. It’s four members, appointed for two decades, and takes steps to reinforce the function of statutory auditors in the financial industry, outside monitoring, and inner controlling systems

Qualification Criteria for RBI Assistant

Assistants will draw a starting basic pay of ₹ 14,650/- per month (i.e. ₹ 13,150/- plus two advance increments admissible to Graduates) in the scale of ₹ 13150 – 750(3) – 15400 – 900(4) – 19000 – 1200(6) – 26200 – 1300(2) – 28800 –1480(3) – 33240 – 1750(1) – 34990 (20 years) and other allowances, viz.
