Symbiosis National Aptitude Test
Symbiosis National Aptitude Test or SNAP TEST is a management aptitude test conducted by the Symbiosis International (Deemed) University for admission to the MBA/PGDM programs offered by its 16 constituent institutes. The exam is conducted in online mode.
SNAP registrations process:
- A candidate can appear for a maximum of two tests for SNAP.
- If a candidate appears for two tests, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation.
- Register online on the website: https://www.snaptest.org/ (from September 24 to 28 November every year ). Note – Any change in the online registration form (except the name, date of birth, category, test city preferences, and test date) will be entertained only up to the closing date of registration. No change shall be permitted after the closing date under any circumstances.
- Upload your latest scanned color passport size photo at the time of online registration for the SNAP Test. (Your photograph should not be more than three months old).
- Ensure that the information you have filled in is accurate. *No change in name, date of birth, category, test city, and test date requests will be entertained once a candidate has paid her/his SNAP Test 2020 registration fee.
- SNAP Test fee of Rs. 1750/- per test
The SNAP exam paper consists of questions from
- General English
- Quantitative data interpretation and Data sufficiency ( DI-DS)
- Analytic & Logical reasoning ( A -LR )
After clearing the SNAP exam, candidates have to participate in Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interaction (PI), and Written Ability Test (WAT), conducted by SIU institutes individually in February and March
SNAP Eligibility Criteria:
Given below are the eligibility criteria for the SNAP exam.
- Graduates in any subject with at least 50 percent aggregate (45 percent for SC/ST/PWD candidates) or equivalent from recognized university or institute can apply for SNAP 2021
- Final year students are also eligible to apply for SNAP Test, but their admission will remain provisional until submission of the passing certificate
- International students or candidates who have graduated from an international university, have to obtain a certificate of equivalence from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
SNAP Exam Pattern
The SNAP exam pattern has been revised following the COVID-19 situation in the country. The exam duration has been reduced from 120 minutes to 60 minutes.
- The number of questions has been reduced from 110 to 60.
- There will be no Special Questions in the SNAP exam and there will be no differential marking either.
- Every question will carry one mark. There will be a negative marking of – 1/4 for every wrong attempt.
- General English -15 questions
- A- LR will have 25 questions
- Di-DS will carry 20 questions
SNAP is a speed-based exam that tests the candidate’s analytical and logical aptitude. To prepare for the exam, one should keep in mind certain aspects such as the SNAP exam pattern and test structure. The candidate must prepare according to the SNAP syllabus and practice previous years’ SNAP question papers

SNAP Admission process :
The first step itself is to give the computer-based exam. On qualifying SNAP 2020, eligible candidates will be called for step 2 which is GE-PIWAT i.e. Group Exercise, Personal Interaction, and Writing Ability Test. Then on being selected you can choose whatever college you want to join in the list that is given to you.
