UPPPSC conducts exams to recruit candidates for the combined state / subordinate services through examination which is conducted in different phases and stages. Details of the exam like eligibility, exam pattern are given below.

Exam pattern:
The competitive examination for the Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services Examination, 2021 and Assistant Conservator of Forest / Range Forest Officer Services Examination, 2021 comprise three successive stages viz:-
1. Preliminary Examination (Objective Type & Multiple choice).
- Main Examination (Conventional Type, i.e. Written examination).
- Viva- Voce (Personality Test).
