SSC CGL Tier-I exam contains a total of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of 200 marks. Candidates need to complete the exam in online mode in a duration of 60 minutes (one hour). For further clarification, candidates can refer to the table below:
SSC CGL 2020 Marking Scheme for Tier-I
One mark is awarded for every correct answer in the exam. There is a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in the exam.

SSC CGL 2020 Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme for Tier-II
SSC CGL Tier-II exam consists of four papers. Each paper consists of MCQs that candidates need to attempt in online mode. Candidates need to attempt each paper in a duration of 120 minutes (two hours). For further clarification, candidates can refer to the table below

Note: Paper-I and -II of SSC CGL tier-II are compulsory for all posts. Paper-III needs to be given by candidates who apply for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation and Statistical Investigator Grade-II in the office of Registrar General, India. Also, paper-IV needs to be given by candidates who are shortlisted in Tier-I for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.
SSC CGL 2020 Exam Pattern for Tier-III
SSC CGL Tier-III is a subjective/descriptive paper in English or Hindi language. Candidates need to attempt the paper in a pen-and-paper mode in 60 minutes duration. The maximum number of marks that candidates can score in the exam is 100.
